Let me tell you:
Getting here wasn’t easy or a straight line.
I started my journey to become calm, confident and collected many years ago when I was just starting out on the juggle of adult life.
Over the years I felt like I was struggling to cope – I experienced anxiety, stress, and overwhelm – and felt like a failure for feeling that way. I tried counselling, hypnotherapy, self help books, listening to empowering podcasts….
But there was one problem
They all just added to my overwhelm, guilt and shame that I just didn’t feel like I was coping well enough.
I looked like I was coping from the outside – I could act the part, do my job well and carry on juggling everything in my life – but in constant fear that I would drop something important or be found out.
I FELT LIKE AN IMPOSTER.
I was covering it all up so well, but inside I was anxious, overwhelmed and scared.
I started to experience severe anxiety, yet looking after myself was just at the very bottom of my long ‘to-do’ list.
So I tried:
Counselling - having a space to talk about all the problems I was experiencing in a safe space did help but didn't provide me with a clear path forward...
Reading self help books, listening to podcasts.... but even trying to squeeze in reading or listening felt like too much, never mind having to DO any of the things they suggested
Asking for help - but I felt weak and stupid and so worried that people would think that I couldn’t cope or wasn’t worthy....
Despite all of this, I knew in my heart:
That I didn’t deserve or need to feel this way!
And that’s when it hit me – all the things that I found useful would be helpful for others feeling that way too!
I realised that I had hidden reserves of wisdom and power within me that I could use when I needed – the idea of ‘archetypes’ helped me to step into that power.
Breaking everything down into small, easily actionable steps and meeting my needs more effectively helped me to start to live my life with more calm, confidence and resilience, so that I am able to live a truly balanced life and deal with all the unexpected things that crop up.
And the best part?
For the first time, it actually worked! I now build self care into my daily and weekly routines so that I feel balanced and centred; I am able to plan effectively and ask for help where I need it, with a confidence that I deserve to share the load, not because I am unable to cope; I trust myself and my own inner wisdom when it comes to decision making; and I have learnt to speak to myself kindly so that I know I am always doing the best I can with the resources I have available to me.

To have a business I LOVE, working with people like you who make my heart sing to improve your life too AND it allows me to take time out for the fun stuff in my life, and really take care of myself!

Meeting you has been utterly transformative in my personal life and career.
I’ve published my book – It was a massive ambition of mine to write an academic book and I’ve now done that! I’ve also managed to set up various projects and even won an award for this. I’ve managed to get external funding (which is a massive deal in academia) and I’ve even found the courage to talk to my boss about my career and what I want from my job, which involved setting out some difficult demands. I have taken up running and strength training (which I am so surprised at how much I like that). Frequently asked Questions
Q: How much does this all cost? Will I be tied into an expensive programme?
A: Not at all! One of my driving values is to be affordable for as many people as possible.
It costs just £85 per session, payable as you have the sessions rather than having to pay a big chunk all at once.
Q: I’m so stressed and busy. How will I find the time?
A: You can if you choose! Making time for yourself and prioritisng your needs is hard – and that’s why I am here to help you!
Q: I’ve tried to make changes before. Will this work for me?
A: Absolutely! This program is perfect if you’ve been stuck or need clarity. I’ll help you uncover what’s holding you back and get you on track.
Q: Can I start any time?
A: You can start when it suits you. If you wait until things are sorted before you get them sorted…. that will never happen! You do need to commit to yourself to make the changes that you want to make.
Q: How much time will it take and when are the sessions?
A: Each session lasts for an hour. You can schedule the weekly or fortnightly at a time that suits you. Between the sessions I encourage you to notice your behaviour, and use the tools that we explore; this will not be time consuming though.
Q: I’ve never done anything like this before. Will that be a problem?
A: Don’t worry! I provide a safe, welcoming and supportive space that is entirely non judgemental. I lead you gently through the work, and always move at a pace that suits you.
