Workshops & Retreats

Sometimes the best first step is a small one. My workshops are short, friendly, practical sessions where you can make sense of what’s going on for you, try something that helps, and meet other women who understand. And now and then, a retreat day gives you something rarer: a whole day that’s just for you.

Coming up:

  • It’s Not Your Fault: Mon 19 / Tue 20 Oct
  • The Calm Reset: Mon 23 / Tue 24 Nov
  • The Queen Retreat day: Sat 30 Jan

It’s Not Your Fault: An Introduction to Menopause
Monday 19 October, 7–7.45pm or Tuesday 20 October, 12.45–1.30pm · Online via Zoom · £29

So many of us feel the pressure to be the best we can be at work and at home, to be sociable, and to fit everything else in too. If you’re in your 40s or 50s and not feeling like your usual self, it’s easy to assume the problem is you. It isn’t. In this 45-minute workshop you’ll:

  • understand the difference between perimenopause and menopause, and why you might be feeling the way you do
  • learn two simple tools for anxiety, mood swings and sleep that you can use straight away
  • find out what to ask your GP, so you go in feeling prepared rather than dismissed
  • spend time with other women going through the same thing, with a chance to ask your questions

The Calm Reset
Monday 23 November, 7–7.45pm or Tuesday 24 November, 12.45–1.30pm · Online via Zoom · £29

Feeling as though you can’t get everything done, however hard you try? You don’t need a better system for doing it all. In this 45-minute workshop I’ll share the Calm Reset Loop – Pause, Prioritise, Adjust, Repeat – a simple way to notice the pressure building and ease it before it spills over. You’ll:

  • recognise your early-warning signs before overwhelm takes over
  • sort what you’re carrying, so it stops feeling as if everything matters equally
  • choose one small, realistic change for this week, and find the words to make it
  • take home the Calm Reset Loop, plus the Power of No workbook afterwards
